What has Changed?
- Building design refined to fit with surroundings and building heights lower towards Monkgate.
- Increased public square area and larger green buffer behind County House.
- Enhanced landscaping including ‘green fingers’ around main buildings.
- Space outlined for a local supermarket.
- Home types have been updated to include a range of student needs, (under and post-graduate university courses) and co-living.
- Increased footpath/cycleway through the site.
- The site owners will secure the site following Sainsbury’s closure. Fusion will work closely with neighbours to address any potential issues.
- Discussions will take place with health and other stakeholders on potential impact and agree strategy.
- Fusion will operate and manage the site over the long-term.
